Wall Work

This drill involves using a wall to practice your dribbling skills. Find a wall with enough space and set up a square using cones or markers. Players must start by dribbling toward the wall, then use a combination of moves such as cuts, fakes, and feints to keep the ball away from the wall as you move around the square. This drill can help you improve your footwork, balance, and control.


Figure Eight

This drill involves dribbling in a figure-eight pattern around cones or markers. Set up two cones or markers about four feet apart and dribble the ball in a figure-eight pattern around them. As you become more comfortable, try to increase your speed and add more cones or markers to the course. This drill can help you improve your agility, coordination, and ball control.


Circle Dribbling

In this drill players must keep control of the ball around a circle of cones or markers. Set up a circle of cones or markers with a diameter of about ten yards. Dribbling inside the playing area using different parts of your feet, such as the inside and outside edges. As you become more comfortable, try to increase your speed and change direction. This drill can help you improve your footwork, control, and vision.
